We provide extrusions from our patented process using two basic scrap feedstocks;
- 6061 or 6063 post industrial scrap
- Landfill diverted aluminum cans

Aluminastic Corporation has entered the marketplace, with casting ingots 25-28 lbs. as well as casting 6061 and 6063 (2.9", 3.5", 6" 7"and 8" diameter) billets for contracted extruders to produce precision tubing for the European and domestic markets.
We have worked with the following alloys with excellent testing results;
- 6000 series Direct Extrusion Tubing – Aluminastic material can be extruded to precision tolerances as low as +/- .003 on a standard direct-extrusion press. The 6000 series can also be cold drawn, severely reducing the cross-section down to precision tolerances of +/- .001. These capabilities make our material an attractive alternative to expensive cold-drawn seamless tubing. Lead-times can be reduced from 24-26 wks down to 4-6 wks with a reduction in costs.
- Used Beverage Cans and HDPE blend that has an ultimate tensile strength of 32,000 psi with excellent elongation (11%-13%) and a superior finish.
- A356.2 - Surpassed standard fluidity capabilities by 29%, with increased strength and increased elongation

Aluminastic material has an increased flow rate of 29% and is approximately 14% stronger than the baseline with a much lower yield, equating into approximately 8 times greater elongation.
