Aluminastic 6061 "New Aluminum" in 7 " Billet 

Aluminastic has several new materials that it has developed over the past several years.  Aluminastic Corporation believes that its nano-composite material can supply industry with an extremely strong, yet lightweight composite material that will literally revolutionize manufacturing throughout the world. 

Aluminastic Corporation wants to make market penetration with its new 6061 Aluminastic "New Aluminum" material that will increase productivity for extrusion facilities by 30-40% without expensive equipment changes.  Over the next few years more enhanced materials will be produced to offer materials that have the weight of aluminum but the strength of steel. 

The versatility of aluminum allows for different aluminum alloys for different product applications.  An alloy is made up of two or more metals and designed to increase strength, formability, and corrosive resistance without increasing weight.  Specific alloys can be grouped into a numbered series according to their main elements.  The first digit of each alloy identifies its basic series.  The following three numbers identify specific variations and compositions of the alloy.   The Aluminastic material can be composed of any one of these specific alloys based on the specific manufacturer requirements.
